come into read about my Disneyland trip

OMG IT WAS AMAZING!!! BEST.BIRTHDAY.EVER!!!

I'm going to make a post about each day. Right now D has all the pictures on his phone, so I will have to add them later.

DAY ONE-

Our flight left via Jet Blue at 6:18 am. D wasn't a huge fan of that, since we woke up around 2:30 and my dad picked us up at 3 and dropped us off at the airport at around 3:45. But I thought it was worth it since we arrived at Disneyland around 9:30 and could go into the park right after we checked into the hotel. Unfortunately the Jet Blue check in desk didn't open until 4:15, so we had to hang out until then.

Flight was pretty good, we shelled out the extra money to get the Extra Space option, which gave us extra leg space and a free checked bag. Also first boarding onto the plane.

We stayed at the Disney Californian Hotel and Spa, has its own entrance into California Adventure, which was awesome! A little more money wise, but so worth it. When we checked into the hotel, everyone was super nice and made a big deal that it was my (early) birthday and our 4 year anniversary. They gave us our buttons and I immediately put them on.

Around the time we landed, my nose started to get stuffed up, and it proceeded to get worse once we got into the room. I was pretty miserable the rest of the day and ended up going to bed around 8. The hotel was awesome and sent up a humidifier and it helped IMMENSELY. Thankfully my allergies didn't show up the rest of the trip. The park closed at 6 that day anyway for their Halloween party, so I didn't miss too much.

Also, our character breakfast was at 9:10 the next morning, so it was good to have plenty of sleep.

First day wasn't the best, but I was at Disneyland, so it didn't suck completely. I will add the post about day two later.

first step taken in getting my next tattoo!

I'm very excited to say that I've scheduled my appointment and placed a down payment! The artist is very popular and his next appointment isn't until April of next year. That's ok though since it will give me plenty of time to save up the money for it! I'll be getting it done at Slave to the Needle.

Here is what I'm getting, it will be on my left forearm.

WIJFR Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky *possible spoilers*

I LOVED this book, it was so sad and beautiful. I really liked how it was written, it definitely worked for the character.

I really related to Charlie, I have also stayed in the hospital due to a breakdown. I remember being checked in, having to take out the drawstring from my sweatshirt, D bringing me a bag of clothes and the snow leopard stuffed animal he got for me from the Woodland Park Zoo. And then when D had to leave, I remember sitting on the bed and realizing how alone I was. Like Charlie, it was such a big help having family and friends being so supportive.

I found out that the author was also the director and producer of the movie, it was great that it followed the book very closely, but wasn't exactly the same.

WIJFR Mockingjay by Suzane Collins *SPOILERS*

I enjoyed this, but I felt that the ending was a bit hurried.

I don't see why Katniss didn't see how bad Gale was going, willing to set up human traps with no remorse. So I wasn't too upset when he was transferred to District 2 at the end. I was glad that Katniss ended up with Peeta, but didn't feel that she loved him as much as he loved her. Like she was settling down a little.

And forcing the Hunger Games on the children of the Capitol? I wasn't sure how I felt about that. It wasn't the childrens' fault for the bad decisions that their parents and ancestors made. And I don't recall these Hunger Games every being mentioned.

And Katniss having children? She admitted that she only had them because Peeta wanted children. It sounded like she was happy with the decision after she gave birth, but it wasn't very evident.
